Cushing Public Schools Teacher Honored in 20 Under 2 List

The Teaching & Leading Initiative of Oklahoma (TLI) has honored twenty of the top novice teachers in the state in the third annual 20 Under 2 Novice Teaching Awards, a list of promising new Oklahoma teachers. The honorees include Cushing Public Schools teacher Jarred Bush.

Oklahoma State Department of Health, as of Monday, May 10, reports 2,354 active cases of COVID-19. A decrease of 8,042. Since beginning testing the total cases are at 448,872 with total recoveries reported are at 439,686 and 6,832 deaths attributed to the virus are reported.

CHS freshman Dawson Claxton has been accepted to both the Oklahoma Institute for Fine Arts at Quartz Mountain for Choir and to the Chenoweth Broadway Bootcamp this summer. He is the first CHS student to receive both of these prestigious honors.
