Aurora M. McDowell, 92, of Neptune City passed away peacefully on December 5. Aurora worked in child care for most of her life. She lived in the Neptune City Senior Housing and attended Allaire Senior Daycare where she had many cherished friends. She was a wonderful cook and bingo enthusiast who loved to watch the Hallmark Channel and science fiction movies. Aurora was born in Panama City, Panama and lived in Cushing, Oklahoma before moving to Neptune City. Aurora was a loving grandmother, mother and friend.
She is survived by her three sons and their spouses, Larry and Renee McDowell of Cushing, Oklahoma, Roberto and Clare Mc-Dowell of Neptune City and Toby and Delia McDowell of Cushing, Oklahoma. Her beloved grandchildren Eli, Joseph, Meagan, Erin, Andrew and Kadence McDowell. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters.
