Gary Allen Wade, lifelong resident of Yale, Oklahoma passed peacefully from this life on November 4, 2020. Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Yale Assembly of God Church, 777 Glory Road, Yale, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Yale Assembly of God Church with Pastor Mike Clark offi ciating. Burial will follow at Lawson Cemetery north of Yale.

Gary was born November 8, 1945 in Yale, Oklahoma to parents Charley and Gladys (Ogle) Wade. He grew up in Yale graduating from Yale High School with the class of 1964. In high school, Gary played several sports, football, basketball, boxed in the golden gloves, and was active in numerous activities with the school. After graduation he played football on a full scholarship at Oklahoma State University. At the age of 17, he and his father went to buy tank trucks and ended up buying the Cowboy Club. He married Sunny Jean Pence and to this union Dedra was born. Then later married Anita Lucille Frankfather and to this union Bryan Allen and Joseph Clenton were born. Gary married Sue Blair on May 14, 1984 in Miami, Oklahoma and to this union Gary gained two more sons, Doug and Donny Todd. Gary worked many years in the oilfi eld as a pipeline x-ray technician and inspector traveling overseas several times to places including Venezuela, Syria, Nigeria, and Libya. He even traveled to Russia teaching welding after the Cold War. Gary was chosen along with Tom Reeder which was 2 of twelve picked throughout the nation to take the examination to be an auditor for Trans Alaska Pipeline working for the Alyeska Pipeline.

Gary had many skills, from welding to mechanic work he could do it all. He loved ranching, going to farm sales, watching horses, team roping and working his cattle. He could accomplish anything he set his mind to because of his strong work ethic and drive. Gary started the 4 Bar Roundup Club with Larry Morphew that is still going today. He was a gifted storyteller, had a great sense of humor, and will always be remembered for this love and loyalty to his family.

Survivors include his loving wife Sue of the home, daughter Dedra Lovelace and husband Cody of Cushing, Bryan Allen Wade and wife Jeanna of Yale, Joseph Clenton Wade and wife Shannon of Yale, Doug Todd and wife Tammy Ann of Piedmont, Donny Todd of Yale, grandchildren Candice Guerrero and husband Tony, Kaycee Pilkinton and husband Chance, Braxton Wade, Bailey Wade, Christian Wade, Kailynn Wade, Trista Wade, Alexandra Shank and husband Lucas, Brandon Gambrell, Olivia Todd, Colton Todd and Brody Todd, and great grandchildren Ella and Nico Guerrero, Tirzah Wade and Tatum Pilkinton and numerous cousins and other family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
