Mary June Retherford of Tulsa, born June 14, 1931 died Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the age of 91. The daughter of Everett and Ruth Sager of Cushing, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Retherford, brother Melvin Sager and sisters Everonie and Nancy.

Robert D Dooley

Robert D Dooley fell asleep in death after a short battle with cancer. Robert was born in Yale, OK on December 7th, 1946. He spent his early years in Cushing, OK and graduated from Cushing High School in 1965. In 1966 he was drafted into the Army.

Wallace ‘Emery’ Retherford

Emery Retherford, 88, lifelong Cushing resident, died on May 8, 2023, at his home here in Cushing. Services will be Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer here in Cushing with Pastor Ron Rafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Lotie “Gary” Schlegel

Lotie “Gary” Schlegel, 80, passed away May 11, 2023, surrounded by his family at his home in Edmond OK. Gary was born December 11, 1942 in Cushing to Lotie B Schlegel and Dortha Leyerly Schlegel. He graduated from Cushing High School with the Class of 1960.

Rosia Lee Shanklin-McKinney

Born January 21, 1969 in Wichita, KS, she passed April 24th 2023. Rosea was the wife of Martinez McKinney Sr. She was the daughter of Walter Lee Shanklin Sr. and Virginia Lee Garrett-Shanklin. She was the 2nd oldest of 5 children.

Tessa Marie Lazor was born June 7th, 1984, in Glens Falls, NY to parents Colin Hagadorn and Diane (Doubleday) Green. She was raised in the Lake Luzerne, NY and Penrose, Colorado areas. Tessa was a graduate of Hadley-Luzerne Central School District with the Class of 2002.
