Donald Gene Harless was born August 14, 1943, to Nellie (Baker) and William Jennings Harless in Cushing, Oklahoma. He departed this life October 5, 2025, at the age of 82. Don graduated from Cushing High School in 1961 and later received an associate’s degree from Ventura Junior College.

Gregory Don Roberts

Gregory Don Roberts was born September 15, 1961, in Twentynine Palms, California. He traveled with his family in the Marine Corps to many places, including Japan, until they settled in Cushing, Oklahoma. Gregory would later graduate from Cushing High School and go on learning how to weld.

J.D. McFarlin

J.D. McFarlin, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 90, in Cushing, Oklahoma. Born on December 20, 1934, in Yale, Oklahoma, to Alice and Emory McFarlin, J.D.

H.M. “Butch” Clopton, Jr.

Herman Monroe Clopton, Jr, 83, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on September 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cushing, Oklahoma, to “Slim” and Nellie (Cole) Clopton. Butch grew up in an oil industry community.

Cecil LeRoy Wrigh

Cecil LeRoy Wright was born February 10, 1942, to Alfred James Wright and Ruth Irene Cobb Davidson in Drumright, Oklahoma. Departed this life on September 15, 2025, at the age of 83 years.Cecil was raised in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1960.

Hailey White was born March 30, 1993, in Cushing and left this world on September 6, 2025, in Oklahoma City.She was proceeded in death by her best friend and grandfather Robert Strader, her paternal grandparents Charles and Dixie Shipman.

Jeffery Lyn Harris

Jeffery Lyn Harris was born in Cushing, Ok on July 10th, 1954, to the late Clarence Harris Jr and Betty Sue Harris.Jeff traveled with his parents and younger brother across the United States while his father worked on the pipeline when he was a child.Jeff Graduated from Cushing High School in 1972.

Mildred Alice Roberts

Mildred Alice Roberts was born February 24th, 1939, in the rural area of Sasakwa, OK. She grew up in that area, graduated from Vamoosa High School, May 10, 1956. She died on September 4th, 2025, peacefully at home.

Carrliee Testerman

Carrilee Testerman, age 72 from Cushing, OK passed away on September 8, 2025. Carrilee was born March 8th, 1953, in El Dorado, Arkansas to Paul and Virginia (Holmes) Powell. She also lived in Louisiana, Texas, and other towns in Oklahoma before her family settled in Cushing where her father grew up.
