This weekend at the Oklahoma Press Association Convention we at Cimarron Valley Communications (CVC) brought home 21 different awards and I could not be more proud of our team. Now, I’ll spare you the details, I’m sure you read the story about it by now.

ODOT Projects in HD33

This week, I want to give an update on current and upcoming projects by the Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation in Payne and Logan Counties. The project on US-177 (Perkins Road) in Stillwater will have the mainline paving completed in a few weeks.

School’s out for summer

Here is a shout out to all the teachers out there. I finally got around to cleaning out my backpack and my thoughts went out to all of us. Those who are just getting our feet under us after that last bell rang in May.

Legislature Adjourns Sine Die

The First Session of the 59th Legislature adjourned sine die on Friday, May 26 after months of work. Session started with more than 1,901 House Bills and 1,116 Senate Bills filed ahead of deadline.
