This award, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol overall, means so much to me because of an officer I knew when I was growing up.

I have the privilege of serving as the chair of the House Children, Youth and Family Services Committee, and this past week, my committee hosted some interim studies. Several of the studies focused on food insecurity, which occurs when a person doesn't have sufficient access to food.
