Cushing Lady Tiger Cross Country Runner Harley York placed third in the Tulsa 7 Conference Cross Country Championships last week in Cleveland. Finishing ninth was Yohali Medrano. For the boys, the Tigers’ top 20 contender was Camden Evans who finished 15th.
The Cushing High School Elementary Girls went out to compete last week and took the Tulsa 7 Conference Cross Country Championships last week with a first place overall finish.

We had three senior girls who were honored on Senior Day so I will write about them. There is also slowpitch softball in the spring so we’re probably saying goodbye to them just untill fast pitch.Avery Todd, most of her career, played in the end.

OOLOGAH — It was a rout. 49-21, Tigers. Oologah never saw it coming — at least not that fast. By the time most of the Mustang fans had found their seats and unfolded their stadium chairs, Cushing quarterback Roman Tucker was already carving up the Oologah secondary like a Steer Inn roast.

SHAWNEE — The Cushing High School cross country teams turned in solid performances at the Oklahoma Baptist University Cross Country Challenge on Oct. 2, with the boys placing fifth and the girls earning fourth in the Class 4A division.
