BERRYHILL — The Cushing Tiger Wrestling team traveled to Berryhill last week and placed second in the Tulsa 7 Conference wrestling tournament, scoring 384.5 points. Bristow was first with a point total of 450 points.Individual results are listed below.

Lady Tigers hammer Nathan Hale in Ft. Gibson

FT GIBSON — The Cushing Lady Tigers traveled to Ft. Gibson to compete in the Old Fort Classic basketball tournament last week. While they did not return with any hardware, they did come home with a ton of experience and one big win over a Class 5A team.

FT. GIBSON - The 14-5 Cushing Tigers have moved up in the rankings and are currently 13th in Class 4A basketball after knocking off the No. 13 Ft. Gibson Tigers and the No. 5 Stilwell Indians at the Ft. Gibson Old Fort Classic this weekend.

Lady Dawgs close out tourney with win over Olive

YALE — Last week, Yale high school hosted the Yale Basketball Tournament.The Lady Bulldogs went 1-2, losing their first two games to Pawnee and Woodland, then bouncing back to take out the Olive Lady Wildcats in the final game.

YALE — The Yale Bulldogs (88) opened their own tournament against Olive (4-13) and systematically declawed the Wildcats 52-26.On the first score of the night, Lucas Reece drew a foul and came up with a deuce and-one for three points.
