MANNFORD - The Cushing Tigers’ last game of 2023 was a lot closer than the final score let on as the Tigers faced down a tough Mannford team last Friday and came out on top, 49-43. The Tigers are 5-2 going into the holiday break.

MANNFORD - The Cushing Lady Tigers have yet to bring home a win, but head coach Mason Baade remains optimistic. Tasked with rebuilding the girl’s basketball program that hasn’t seen a winning season in five years, Baade, who’s in his first year, said he sees potential in the talent on the team.

CUSHING - The Cushing Tigers boys basketball team is off to a solid 2-0 start with decisive wins over the Cleveland Tigers (56-34) and the Bristow Pirates (58-28) last week. Even with the wins, head coach Jake Christenson knows there is plenty of work ahead.

CUSHING - The 2023 Cushing Tiger football season was balanced on a pinhead Friday as the Sallisaw Black Diamonds and the Tigers went into overtime with the score knotted at 28. “I thought we we started off great,” said offensive coordinator for the Tigers Scott Chisholm.
