Bettie Wickett, long time Cushing resident, passed from this life on Monday, April 25, 2022, at her home surrounded by family at the age of 86. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 300 E. Moses, Cushing, OK.

Grace Edith McEntire

Grace Edith McEntire, 84, longtime Agra resident passed peacefully from this life on April 27, 2022, in Chandler surrounded by her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Jimmie Eikenbary

Jimmie Eikenbary passed from this life on April 25, 2022, in Anchorage, Alaska with his son by his side. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Oklahoma. Jimmie was born December 14, 1930, in Oilton, Oklahoma to parents Frank and Litha Eikenbary.

Sager “Daryl” Larson

Sager “Daryl” Larson passed from this life on April 21, 2022. He had lived east of Stillwater. Daryl was born on March 27, 1929, to parents Sager E. Larson and R. Beryl Johnson Larson. He grew up and attended school in Moses Lake, Washington. Daryl was valedictorian of his class and an Eagle Scout.

Charlie Fisher

Born in Cushing, Oklahoma to Lyal and Ola Fisher. Charlie grew up on an oil lease in Oilton, OK that his father and grandfather worked for. Charlie attended Oilton Public Schools and graduated in 1967. He played football, baseball, and basketball all through school.

Cheryl Dawn Moody

Passed January 12th, 2022. Born in Cushing in 1969 and graduated from Drumright Highschool. Survived by Dan & Sharron Moody, Sister & Brother in law Terresa & Burt Hunziker, nephew Leo, and niece Karystalyn. Memorial services will be held April 30th at 1:30 PM at Calvary Baptist Church.

Walter Earl Morris

Graveside services were held at 11am April 19, 2022 at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Drumright, for longtime Drumright resident Walter E. Morris. Pastor Mark Jackson officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

James “Jim” Edward Stokes

James “Jim” Edward Stokes of Yale passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Hillcrest Main Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 81. Born June 26, 1940 in his grandfather’s house at Glencoe, Oklahoma, Jim was the son of Albert Walter and Doris Emma Lou Margaret (Halm) Stokes.

Mary June Stevens

Mary June Stevens, 90, passed peacefully from this life on April 8, 2022, at her home in Cushing surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Raymond Michael Morris

Raymond Michael Morris was born June 3, 2014, to Casandra Torres and Samuel Morris in Cushing, Oklahoma. He entered heavens gates April 2, 2022, at the age of 7. Raymond had a few different alias names, such as, “Raymonator”, “Ray Ray”, “Rainman”, “Sugar Ray” and “Lloyd”.
